So its been just over 10 days since I arrived in Thailand.  I have to admit that I have never been a real lover of Thai food. It’s not that I disliked it. It’s more that whenever given the choice I would always choose Chinese over Thai food.

However in the last 10 days that has all changed!

Upon arriving in Bangkok I got to try my first Thai food of my trip, from a little street vendor, Pad Thai

Pad Thai is available with a variety of different noodle types and is commonly served with option of having egg and another type of meat such as chicken or shrimp included.

Pad Thai with egg, chicken and spring roll

This Pad Thai with egg, chicken and a spring roll only cost 50 Baht in Bangkok ($1.50 USD) the portion size was enormous and great for travelers on a budget.

I think I have eaten Pad Thai almost every day for the past 10 days.

This is what I love about travelling, Finding new and delicious foods. It’s like my time in Mexico, where I discovered my love for Mexican food.

What’s your favorite Thai dish?
